- Conjunctions: Words that connect words, phrases, or clauses (e.g., and, but, because).
- Berita: Words that define a noun as specific or unspecific (e.g., the, a, an).
- Sentences: Structure of a complete thought, including subject and predicate.
- Subject-Verb Agreement: Ensuring the subject and verb in a sentence match in number (singular or plural).
- Tenses: Forms of verbs that indicate time (e.g., past, present, future).
Punctuation
- Period (.): Used to end a declarative sentence.
- Question Mark (?): Used at the end of a question.
- Exclamation Mark (!): Used to show strong emotion or emphasis.
- Comma (,): Used to separate items in a list, after an introductory element, or to set off clauses.
- Apostrophe (‘): Used to show possession or to form contractions (e.g., John’s book, can’t).
- Quotation Marks (” “): Used to enclose direct speech or quotations.
- Colon (:): Used to introduce a list, explanation, or quotation.
- Semicolon (;): Used to connect closely related independent clauses.
- Parentheses (()): Used to enclose additional information or asides.
- Hyphen (-): Used to join words or parts of words (e.g., well-known, mother-in-law).
